Ball gown made of silk fabric. Bodice fitted with tucks with a plunging neckline, fastened from the back. Modjeska wears it with lowered shoulder straps, exposing shoulder line. Fairly wide waist belt sewn of four pleats directed upward. Skirt cut from triangular pieces, without ornaments, extending on the back to form a train.
Gown is worn with a set consisting of bertha collar and tunic. Bertha has the form of "braces" that are sewn with fanciful ruche and decorated on the outer side with a teeth-shaped lace. From the front braces have similarly decorated bar and a front of crease delicate material. Short sleeves of the same fabric, creased in the middle and ending with a fancy ruche are attached to bertha. Additional decoration consists of bows - two on each sleeve and one in the middle of the front.
Tunic of the same fabric as the dress consists of two parts: a shorter upper and a longer lower. The upper one is cut in the front in the form of apron, draped on sides, with a kind of basque on the back. The sides are adorned with flat bows. Below them finishing of fancy ruche and three rows of flat teeth-shaped frills.
Lower, longer tunic has the same ornament on the bottom and in the middle of its visible length so that is looks like a double tunic. Sides slightly raised. Biggest bow is placed to the back at the belt almost obscuring basque of the upper tunic.
