BUSTLE BALL GOWN - ONE |

Ball gown made of silk fabric. Bodice fitted with tucks with a plunging neckline, fastened from the back. Modjeska wears it with lowered shoulder straps, exposing shoulder line. Fairly wide waist belt sewn of four pleats directed upward. Skirt cut from triangular pieces, without ornaments, extending on the back to form a train.

Gown is worn with a set consisting of bertha collar and tunic. This set is sewn of gauze, muslin, organza or other slightly transparent material. Bertha is sewn of horizontally arranged gore and sewn around the outer edge with pleated flounce of the same material.
Short sleeves ending with a shorter version of ruffle are attached to bertha. In the middle of the front a fanciful bow was placed, and shoulders are decorated with flower garlands.

Tunic is of simple cut, in front reaches to the knees, on the back it is extended. Around the lower edge there is a pleated ruffle wider than one at bertha. Sides are adorned with pinned up decorative bow arranged from locks.
