RIDING HABIT |
Riding habit - most probably made of cloth or another kind of thicker wool.
Front cut from two parts, fitted by tucks. In the middle buttoned up with 6-7 buttons. Front basque made of two tabs – one on each side. Pleat under the neck – similar to those decorating sleeves. Waistline emphasized by a dark wide belt buckled with a rectangular buckle.
Tight sleeves sewn on the lowered shoulder. Convex pleat in the form of the tooth imitates a cuff. Long skirt sewn on the front smoothly, without folds is worn over the second, shorter skirt reaching only to the ankles. Bodice is adorned with white cuffs and collar with lying corners and decorative binding. Riding habit is complete with a staff and hat surrounded by a sash, which to the rear flows over the back.
